  3. oh Tien Yuen, i tried b4, it’s really nice and vy crowded too lo πŸ™‚

  4. Yea, that’s why we always call to reserve seats first πŸ˜› I really love the food there, but vy expensive also πŸ˜› Esp the juices/drinks!! Their bread is not bad also πŸ™‚

  5. Uptown itself has a few vegetarian restaurants.
SS2 also has a tian yuan branch.
Hartamas also has a few nice ones.
    Brickfields Chat Masala is AWESOME.
Bangsar, behind TMC, got vegetarian stalls and one restaurant, i think.
Or opposite macdonalds across the main road,HSBC( Hot and Spicy Bangsar cuisine, i think) and that row of indian vege food rawks.

okay, vegetarian here,(got here through FB food group) i think its awesome that this food blog is vegetarian friendly! Thumbs up!

  6. Thanks! My sis said the Tian Yuen cafe in SS2 has little choice, Cheras one is better πŸ™‚

  7. I always go to Indian Veg restaurant.
1 of my fav is in B’fields: Chat Masala.
To tell the truth I cant rate the service that good but the taste of food I’ll give 8 1/2 of of 10.
They hav not only Indian, but local flavors like Chinese and Western too.
The most interesting foods I like is Northern Indian flavors. They are totaly diff from other Northern Indian food u can get here.
My recommendations: Kadai Chicken (Chicken in a wok)

  8. Hi, found your blog thru a search, and wanted to share this. There is a new vegetarian restaurant in One Utama Shopping Mall, called YISHENSU – A VEGETARIAN CONNOISSEUR

I noticed that when I was having a drink at TGIF. The restaurant is just opposite TGIF at the old wing of 1Utama

I will go and try it out once of these days, and i noticed the decor is very nice. I checked out their menu and pricing, quite reasonable i would say. They also have a website:- ww.yishensu.com , quite famous i guess in ipoh

  9. Thanks, Jaquelyn! Keep us updated on your experience πŸ™‚

  10. Yishensu- i believe they also serve eggs? For those whoa re strict, maybe not a very good idea to go here unless they have spearate cooking untensils etc.

  11. From my experience, all of the vegetarian restaurants will ask you if you want eggs or not, so I think they might offer it to those who would like to have eggs… I have not been to Yishensu though..

  13. Hi,

This is real useful. When I next go to KL, I will print out this list.

I had vegetable curry at some hotels in Malaysia (Desaru, KL, Langkawi), I fell in love with the curry, they used broccoli and cauliflower, so yummy. I can’t find it here and i try to recreate it but not that close πŸ™‚

    Cheers πŸ™‚

  15. Here’s a new one which I would highly recommend to you:
    Kechara Oasis
    New Age Vegetarian Restaurant in
    Jaya One,D19, Level B1,
    Jalan University PJ
    Tel: 7968 1818.
    map found in website: http://www.kecharaoasis.com

Modern, tranquil zen decor, spacious 5000sf space- 21 tables, they have banqueting facilities
Wide menu which also incorporates interesting tibetan & other asian veg dishes. They class themselves as fine dine so prices might be higher than the typical vegetarian eateries. But definitely a notch above others and I enjoyed my meal there. Worth a visit.

  16. Yes, Kechara Oasis a new age vegetarian cuisine restaurant is worth the try. They do not serve egg, garlic nor onions. Go and eat and taste for yourselves …..

  17. hi chat masala is not 100% veg
as the have a nother restaurant near by which is none veg. and all the food is cooked in the came pots in chat masala.. ppl have seen mutton being prepared and chopped there

  18. niki,

I guess you got some info wrong. I am a frequent visitor to Chat Masala and the only restaurant beside it is KFC. I am a vegetarian and I think it is the only place in brickfields where you can get good indian food. And for the mutton, it is the vege mutton from soy and not the real one.

  19. Hi Friends,
I came across new pure vegetarian restaurant at Old Klang Road. They specialise in North Indian food but have unique mix of South Indian, Italian and Mexican food. They have interesting fusion dosa, sizzlers, pizzas n pastas. Radhey’s is located at 3rd Mile Square, Old Klang Road, above Old Town White Coffee, the founder of restaurant is Indian expat from New Delhi, India so food is really authentic, they don’t use onion garlic, I’m sure this place is certainly worth trying out.
    Radhey’s Heavenly Delights
    23-1, 3rd Mile Square
    151 Old Klang Road, Batu 3 1/2
    58100 Kuala Lumpur
    Tel 03 7984 4001
    Fax 03 7984 5001

  28. If you love to travel, then I want to tell you about a revolutionary way to vacation. The important thing to know is just
where to go to find the help that you need. Finding a niche that has about 50,000 searches a month is ideal to be able to get good ranking and
still have a market large enough to be profitable.
