Uptown itself has a few vegetarian restaurants.
SS2 also has a tian yuan branch.
Hartamas also has a few nice ones.
    Brickfields Chat Masala is AWESOME.
Bangsar, behind TMC, got vegetarian stalls and one restaurant, i think.
Or opposite macdonalds across the main road,HSBC( Hot and Spicy Bangsar cuisine, i think) and that row of indian vege food rawks.

okay, vegetarian here,(got here through FB food group) i think its awesome that this food blog is vegetarian friendly! Thumbs up!

I always go to Indian Veg restaurant.
1 of my fav is in B’fields: Chat Masala.
To tell the truth I cant rate the service that good but the taste of food I’ll give 8 1/2 of of 10.
They hav not only Indian, but local flavors like Chinese and Western too.
The most interesting foods I like is Northern Indian flavors. They are totaly diff from other Northern Indian food u can get here.
My recommendations: Kadai Chicken (Chicken in a wok)

Hi, found your blog thru a search, and wanted to share this. There is a new vegetarian restaurant in One Utama Shopping Mall, called YISHENSU – A VEGETARIAN CONNOISSEUR

I noticed that when I was having a drink at TGIF. The restaurant is just opposite TGIF at the old wing of 1Utama

I will go and try it out once of these days, and i noticed the decor is very nice. I checked out their menu and pricing, quite reasonable i would say. They also have a website:- ww.yishensu.com , quite famous i guess in ipoh

Yishensu- i believe they also serve eggs? For those whoa re strict, maybe not a very good idea to go here unless they have spearate cooking untensils etc.

From my experience, all of the vegetarian restaurants will ask you if you want eggs or not, so I think they might offer it to those who would like to have eggs… I have not been to Yishensu though..

    Hi,

This is real useful. When I next go to KL, I will print out this list.

I had vegetable curry at some hotels in Malaysia (Desaru, KL, Langkawi), I fell in love with the curry, they used broccoli and cauliflower, so yummy. I can’t find it here and i try to recreate it but not that close :-)

    Cheers :-)

Here’s a new one which I would highly recommend to you:
    Kechara Oasis
    New Age Vegetarian Restaurant in
    Jaya One,D19, Level B1,
    Jalan University PJ
    Tel: 7968 1818.
    map found in website: http://www.kecharaoasis.com

Modern, tranquil zen decor, spacious 5000sf space- 21 tables, they have banqueting facilities
Wide menu which also incorporates interesting tibetan & other asian veg dishes. They class themselves as fine dine so prices might be higher than the typical vegetarian eateries. But definitely a notch above others and I enjoyed my meal there. Worth a visit.

Yes, Kechara Oasis a new age vegetarian cuisine restaurant is worth the try. They do not serve egg, garlic nor onions. Go and eat and taste for yourselves …..
